Clinical Director – Mood & Anxiety Disorders Program

The Royal is seeking a Mood & Anxiety Disorders Psychiatrist candidate for the position of Clinical Director, Mood & Anxiety Disorders Program.

This is an opportunity to provide clinical leadership through effective collaboration and communication to ensure the optimum functioning of the clinical program and teams under your responsibility, in the best interests of quality care, education and research.

The Clinical Director position is a 0.3 FTE position (combined with additional time for clinical practice). The Clinical Director position is remunerated with an administrative stipend and the clinical practice is fee for service. Bilingualism is considered an advantage but not essential.

This leadership role incorporates clinical, financial, operational, research and educational responsibilities for the Mood & Anxiety Disorders Program. As part of the management team for the ROHCG, key responsibilities include departmental strategic planning and physician recruitment.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership skills. They should be comfortable with multidisciplinary teamwork in both clinical and administrative settings.
