The Diagnostic Imaging Department at Lakeridge Health is seeking a board-certified fellowship-trained Radiologist to join our current group of 12 Radiologists servicing Oshawa and Bowmanville (on-site) as well as our Whitby and Port Perry sites (remotely).  The anticipated start date is July 2022, however, accommodation for an earlier date may be possible.

Lakeridge Health is a tertiary care health system with approximately 800 beds serving Durham Region in the eastern part of the Greater Toronto Area with a Regional Cancer Centre and a Stroke Centre. There are approximately 800 physicians. We have recently experienced a significant expansion with the opening of a new 4,000+ square foot state of the art I.R. facility with a dedicated pre and post care unit.

The ability to interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, diagnostic/screening mammography and general radiology with a special interest in ultrasound is preferred. Ideally the candidate would be able to perform a broad range of imaged guided biopsy and drainage procedures (i.e. lung biopsy and abdominal abscess drain insertion). 

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Diagnostic Radiology and license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario will be required as of the starting date of July 2022.
