Full-Time Associate Gastroenterologist

The Division of Gastroenterology is seeking a Full-Time Associate Gastroenterologist. 

The successful applicant will cover equal share of on call GI coverage at Etobicoke General Hospital and equal share of elective and urgent inpatient endoscopy time.  An interest or additional training in hepatology is considered an asset though not required. The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population.  Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.

As an affiliated academic community teaching site for the McMaster University Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine: Family Medicine program and a key clinical partner for the new School of Medicine with Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), there is ample opportunity to participate in clinical education with medical students and residents.

The candidate must have a certificate of registration to practise from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have fellowship in Gastroenterology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
