Palliative Care Specialist – MILTON, ONTARIO


Halton Healthcare is seeking a Palliative Care Physician to join the Palliative Care Program within the Department of Family Medicine which supports our Milton District Hospital (MDH). MDH operates 60 acute care beds as well as 20 complex transitional care beds. There are also 30 Regional beds (ALC) at the Milton site. There is a 53 bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit at the Oakville site. The Palliative Care program is currently supported by 1 physician.


The successful candidate will be responsible for inpatient consultation and outpatient areas for a total of 0.5 day per week. The appointment would be primarily sited at Milton District Hospital with the ability to cross cover Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.


Successful candidates will have preferably completed postgraduate training in a recognized program in Palliative Medicine.
