There are currently 3 outpatient Primary Care clinics in Terrace, each with available capacity for recruiting new Family Physicians. All are located within the Terrace Downtown area within short driving distance to the hospital and local residential areas.

  • Fantastic opportunities are available for those looking to help build new capacity for primary care in the Terrace Area. This clinic offers flexible/extended clinic hours at affordable overhead cost in a congenial and collaborative work environment. 

  • The Park Avenue Medical Clinic, a well-established office, has had doors open for 15+ years and currently supports 10 physician practices. Due to recent retirements and expanded facilities, there is currently an opportunity to establish new physician practices in this office or to take over established practices from retiring doctors. 

  • The HG Health Centre – turnkey operation with complete provision of medical office infrastructure to operate your own professional practice – four work days in clinic maximum. Fixed overhead structure, two exam rooms, MOA per two physicians, billing support. 

    The economic activity in Terrace is focused on serving the mining, logging and natural gas industries. Terrace is also a regional convention center because of its location and excellent services. The population is approximately 19,000, with a catchment area of 31,000. There are four secondary schools, nine elementary schools, Northwest Community College campus and a UNBC campus. Terrace has a busy airport, with seven out-bound flights per day.

    Terrace is home to Mills Memorial Hospital, a fully accredited, 44 bed, acute care facility. Patient visits to the busy ER in Terrace are varied and reflects the population and activities in the area. Terrace is serviced by
