Oncology - Hematology

The Department of Oncology at Windsor Regional Hospital along with the Windsor Regional Cancer Program is currently recruiting for a full time Hematologist to join its dynamic multidisciplinary team of Oncologists, Hematologists, Nursing and Allied Health Staff. The successful applicant will provide consultative services and work in collaboration with a group of 16 Medical Oncologists/Hematologists. One primary focus will be the management of patients with complex malignant hematologic malignancies. Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Hematology services are well established as well as a 28 bed In-Patient Oncology Unit with a roster of Oncology Hospitalists to provide daily patient care supporting our consultation services. This position also provides opportunities for adjunct and tenure track academic advancement and clinical research.

The Regional Cancer Program provides a broad range of service to the people of Windsor/Essex, Chatham-Kent and Sarnia/Lambton within the Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network (LHIN), representing a population base of approximately 650,000.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold, or be eligible for, certification in Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with a subspecialty in Hematology

Licensed, or license eligible, to practice in Ontario with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
