General Surgery

Northern Health is seeking a General Surgeon to join a diverse group of physicians and surgeons in Terrace in July 2019.

Surround yourself by the stunning coastal mountain range and lush ancient rain forest just minutes away from the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the mild winters, back and cross country skiing, heli-skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, indoor and outdoor skating, ice-fishing and an evening soak in the local hot springs. In the summer, go golfing, hiking, mountain biking, camping, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming in the pristine lakes and of course, the world-class Salmon fishing. Keep an eye out for a rare white Kermode or “spirit” bear. In the evening, relax in one of the many pubs, restaurants or the local brewery, or go dancing and see local musicians perform, or maybe attend one of the art, musical or comedian shows. Go local and shop at the Northwest biggest farmer’s market. Feeling creative? Then, audition and act at the local theatre. Whatever your interests are, you will have access to numerous activities and amenities within minutes from your home – reclaim your work-life balance and join us!
