Locum Malignant Hematologists

The Division of Medical Oncology and Hematology at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network in Toronto is presently recruiting both full-time and part-time Locum Malignant Hematologists to work within the Malignant Hematology Program.  Positions are available across multiple disease sites.  The anticipated start date is flexible.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated expertise in oncology, a strong passion for the medical care of cancer patients as well as a proven ability to work independently, as well as interacting with the complete multidisciplinary team. 

The qualified applicant must have, or be eligible for registration for an independent practice with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and have a valid OHIP billing number.  Salary and contractual arrangements will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.  A highly attractive remuneration package is available.

The Division of Medical Oncology and Hematology at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is the largest such program in Canada, and is among the largest in North America. Comprised of about seventy-five senior physicians, the program is supported by outstanding institutional infrastructure, pathology, medical imaging, molecular diagnostics and clinical genomics programs and, by a wide medical and allied-health multidisciplinary team. The program supports extensive clinical, translational, and basic research initiatives including a large clinical trials program. Additionally, the Division of Medical Oncology and Hematology supports a comprehensive training program attracting both national and international fellows.
