We are currently seeking one internal medicine specialist with experience in cardiology to join our team.

 

Start Date: As soon as possible.

 

Terms of employment and wages: This internal medicine position is a permanent, full-time, fee-for-service position.

 

Job duties: The physician will provide care to patients of the Moose Jaw Cardiac Centre, including diagnosing and treating primarily cardiac disorders and providing cardiovascular risk management, interpreting medical tests, prescribing medications, and making referrals to other specialist physicians as appropriate.

 

Location: The clinic is located at 361 Main St N, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 0W2.

Education and experience: Medical Degree with specialist training in internal medicine and experience/interest in cardiology. Preference will be given to candidates who have or are eligible for a certificate with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Preference will be Residents eligible for CPSS licence.

 

Skills required: specialist training in internal medicine; ability to work effectively, independently and in a multi­disciplinary team; effective written and verbal communication skills.
