Locum Ophthalmology Position (1 Year Term)

Become part of a busy Ophthalmology team at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, providing medical ophthalmology, glaucoma care, ROP screening examinations, cataract surgery, access to SLT and Yag Laser clinics.  You will also provide on-call services on a rotating basis, at each of the Lakeridge Health hospitals.  A fully equipped laser clinic and cataract suite is located at our Bowmanville hospital, where all surgical and laser procedures are carried out.

This full-time practice opportunity, with an expected start date of January 1, 2019, offers an elective surgical practice in Oshawa within 60 minutes of downtown Toronto.

We are part of a five-site organization, in association with the Durham Regional Cancer Centre.  Remuneration will be based on the OHIP fee-for-service, with a HOCC on-call stipend.  Applicants must have certification in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must be licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario.
