Non-Invasive Cardiologists

Trillium Health Partners (THP) is the largest community based academic health network in Ontario serving over one million residents in the communities of Mississauga, Peel Region and West Toronto. The hospital encompasses three main sites – Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital, and Queensway Health Centre – offering a full range of acute care hospital services, as well as a variety of community-based specialized programs.

THP is a regional cardiac center with a full range of services including cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology and electrophysiology. There are a total of 31 CCU and CSICU beds and 76 Cardiology inpatient beds located at the Mississauga Hospital and Credit Valley Hospital. In addition, the Program has two high volume Heart Function Clinics, a growing Cardiac Rehabilitation program and Urgent Cardiac clinics to serve the needs of the community.

We are seeking two non-invasive Cardiologists to be members of our Cardiology Division. The successful candidates shall have FRCPC certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Cardiology. They would be expected to participate in the Division of Cardiology on-call schedule.

We are seeking one candidate who will have completed a Fellowship in Echocardiography at a recognized training centre. This candidate will have achieved level 3 training in Echocardiography during their fellowship.

We are seeking a second candidate who will have completed a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at a recognized training centre.

The organization is an affiliated academic teaching center with the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will be eligible for appointment with the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to an inter-professional care model is essential.
