Division Head and Medical Director, Children’s Health

Women’s and Children’s Health Program

Trillium Health Partners (THP) is a leading hospital with an outstanding record of performance, fiscal responsibility and quality patient care. THP operates on three main sites – Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital, and Queensway Health Centre – offering a full range of acute care as well as a variety of specialized, community-based programs. THP’s mission is to create a new kind of health care for a healthier community. Guided by its values of compassion, excellence, and courage, THP’s strategic plan envisions a new approach to health – working in partnership to create an inter-connected system that is organized around the patient, both inside the Hospital and beyond its walls, by balancing quality, access and sustainability.

THP’s promise to the community to create a new kind of health care includes building a system of care for children and neonates. As the regional centre for Women’s and Children’s Health, THP works collaboratively with the community, and primary, secondary and tertiary care providers to ensure care at the right place, at the right time.

Along with inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services, more than 40,000 children access care through THP’s Emergency Department and Urgent Care Center each year.  The Division of Children’s Health also supports medical students’ academic needs with over 700 unique medical learners participating in the Paediatric educational rotations over the past five years.
