The Division of Cardiology is made up of a nine full time staff with diverse expertise and clinical interests. The group works closely with partnering  hospitals (I.e Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto General Hospital) to provide specialized and exceptional c cardiac care for the patients of the North York region.  These specialized services include but are not limited to coronary angiography, simple and complex electrophysiological procedures, and transesophgeal echocardiography. Our on site diagnostic services include GXT, stress echo, nuclear imaging, Holter monitoring and advanced cardiac imaging (cardiac MRI and cardiac CT).

At the Graham and Audrey Rosenberg Cardiac Care Clinic (CCC), we provides specialized  outpatient cardiac care in the form of a rapid referral clinic, heart function clinic, cardiac device clinic and a Supportive/Palliative care cardiology clinic.. The CCC is fully supported by a collaborative team of two nurse practitioners, nursing practitioner students, a Pacemaker/ECG Technician as well as a full- time administrative secretary.

The Division of Cardiology is looking for one to two candidate(s) to assist in the expansion of the cardiology program.  The successful candidate(s) will be expected to participate in all general clinical cardiology services and diagnostic tests interpretation/supervision as well as attend the in-patient cardiology service.

The successful candidate(s) is expected to have un-restricted licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and have or be eligible for certification in Cardiology/Internal Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Additional fellowship training in Advanced Imaging (cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI), Level III Echocardiography (including TEE) and or Heart Failure will be considered an important asset(s). We are also actively looking for interventional candidates but successful candidates will have to independently seek cross appointment with one of our associated academic centres in Toronto.
