The LH surgical team is represented by General Surgery, Gynecology, OHNS, Thoracic Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.  Both Oshawa and Ajax-Pickering hospitals are supported by full ER, ICU, and Radiology/Interventional Radiology teams.

Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery 1.0 FTE – Oshawa Site

The Division of Otolaryngology is seeking a full time General Otolaryngologist with an interest or fellowship training in Laryngology to join a team of 3 highly specialized subspecialist Otolaryngologists located at our Oshawa site in providing care to the entire Region of Durham.  The successful applicant will provide equitable call coverage for our 4 acute and 1 chronic care sites in conjunction with the other Otolaryngologists.  Emergency Room coverage is provided at the Oshawa and Ajax-Pickering sites.  The applicant will be expected to provide comprehensive general OHNS service and advance community Laryngology service development within Durham Region.  You will have teaching opportunities through the Lakeridge Health partnership with Queen's University.  Lakeridge Health offers many administrative options for those interested in pursuing physicians leadership positions.

Applicants must hold a fellowship in Otolaryngology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and must have independent practice licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.  Fellowship training in Laryngology will be considered an asset.  This position will commence on July 1, 2022.
