Obstetrician/Gynecologist

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Health Sciences is looking for a qualified Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join each of the following Winnipeg private practice group:

  1. The Tache Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic - 400 Taché Avenue.  – Reference #2975
  2.  The Winnipeg Clinic - 425 St. Mary Avenue. – Reference #2973

Each group sees patients in their respective clinic and share community gynecology call and call duties at St. Boniface General Hospital for the DCOG and Tache Clinic groups, and Health Sciences Centre for the Winnipeg Clinic group.  Successful candidates must be a general Obstetrician/Gynecologist with a desire to maintain a busy obstetrical practice in addition to providing gynecologic care.  Gynecologic surgical time will initially be limited to scramble slates, with the expectation of receiving a regular slate in future.

There is an expectation to be involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, both didactic and clinical.  The successful candidate will obtain the approval of the University of Manitoba, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences and obtain a University of Manitoba teaching appointment.  They will support a work and learning environment that embraces the Max Rady College of Medicine’s Equity, Diversity, and inclusion policies, providing for equality and dignity of all people.
