Trillium Health Partners (THP) is the largest community based academic health network in Ontario serving over one million residents in the communities of Mississauga, Peel Region, and West Toronto. The Emergency Medicine Program at THP - one of the largest programs in Ontario, seeing over 250,000 patients on a yearly basis -The program is advancing its platform in new ways, such as focusing on digital technologies, and has recently embraced a robust Simulation program.  

We are seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for Associate and Locum positions to join our innovative and exciting team. The physicians will provide hospital care at the MH/QHC-sites, CVH-site, or at all three sites. Compensation for this position is from the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) and is based on the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care's Alternative Funding Plan (AFP) for the CVH site and Fee for Service (FFS) billing for the MH and QHC sites.

The organization is an affiliated academic teaching centre with the University of Toronto. The preferred candidates would be expected to participate in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical learners, and also have the opportunity to participate in clinical and applied research. The preferred candidates will also have the opportunity to diversify their clinical work with participation in teaching and contribute to quality improvement and program development activities while developing medical leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to an inter-professional care model are also essential.

 
This position represents an opportunity to join a group of dedicated healthcare professionals in a progressive organization. The successful candidates will be licensed or eligible for licensing in good standing by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The applicant will also be either a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
