Saskatchewan Health Authority – Saskatoon and University of Saskatchewan, Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology seek a Hepatologist to join our team. Responsibilities will include limited inpatient services and participation in the on call rotation. No regular endoscopy time to be provided nor access to hospital clinic space. The successful candidate will have appointments in both Saskatchewan Health Authority and the University of Saskatchewan. It is the candidate’s responsibility to lease office space outside of the hospital.

Benefits – This is an independent contractor position therefore benefits are the responsibility of the successful candidate.

Qualifications/Requirements of the position – Applicants must have completed a residency-training program in Internal Medicine and subspecialty training in Gastroenterology accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent. Applicants must have completed Fellowships in general Hepatology, Liver Transplant, and Hepatocellular Carcinoma. Work experience is a must. Candidate should have research experience with emphasis on indigenous health. Applicants should be eligible for regular licensure to practice in Saskatchewan as determined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required to become a member of Practitioner Staff and provide care in Saskatchewan Health Authority facilities.
