Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Opportunities

Island Health’s Department of Psychiatry has a number of part-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist opportunities in the Greater Victoria area on Vancouver Island.  We are offering excellent opportunities to become valued members of a collaborative interdisciplinary team where you can shape your career to suit your practice preferences.  Opportunities include inpatient services at Victoria General Hospital, outpatient services to youth and adolescents aged 13 to 21 and Child and Youth Developmental Disability Mental Health. Psychiatrists must be eligible for licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC). Affiliation with the University of British Columbia’s Island Medical Program provides an opportunity for teaching medical students and residents. Participation in the Child and Youth Mental Health on-call group is a requirement of Island Health Psychiatry services.
