Our client, Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital (TDMH), is a fully accredited 45-bed full-service community hospital with 30 Acute Care beds, 5 Intensive Coronary Care Unit beds, and 10 Complex Continuing Care beds. TDMH has state-of-the-art equipment including: 24-hour CT Scan service; 24-hour respiratory therapy coverage; an integrated health record; PACS; and computerized physician order entry. TDMH is committed to supporting the health of its community with excellent patient care and accessible specialized services.
TDMH is seeking full time or part time Hospitalists to join their well-established Hospitalist Medicine Service. This collegial team provides high-quality Most Responsible Physician (MRP) care to medical inpatients with excellent physician Specialist back-up, well developed policies and procedures, and full support from the Senior Leadership Team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly collegial, well-established, and mutually respectful group of Hospitalist Medicine Physicians.
Hospitalists at TDMH provide care for admitted Medical patients, Complex Continuing Care patients and Alternative Level of Care patients. Hospitalists may also accept referrals as MRP from specialists in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Surgery.
Successful candidates will be CCFP or FRCPC certified and be eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario.
Hospitalists at TDMH work 0800 to 1700 hours on site with no after-hours call. The number of weeks worked per year is negotiable. These full-time or part-time positions offer a very attractive compensation package. Stipend remuneration as a Hospitalist at TDMH is $1,200 per day and $1,500 per day on weekends and statutory holidays. In addition, all OHIP billings in excess of the daily stipend are paid to the Hospitalist. Offering schedule flexibility to achieve your desired work/life balance, these positions also offer an attractive relocation incentive package.
TDMH provides a comprehensive on-boarding and mentorship program for their new Hospitalist Medicine Physicians in order to provide orientation and support for the transition into practice at TDMH and to help develop confidence for early career Hospitalist Medicine Physicians joining their team.
