Trillium Health Partners (THP), the largest community based academic health network in Ontario, is seeking a locum Gynecologic Oncologist for a leave coverage. THP serves over one million residents in the communities of Mississauga, Peel Region and West Toronto. The hospital encompasses three main sites – Credit Valley Hospital (CVH), Mississauga Hospital (MH), and Queensway Health Centre (QHC) – offering a full range of acute care hospital services, as well as a variety of community-based specialized programs including the Peel Regional Cancer Centre which serves both the Central West and Mississauga Halton LHINs.

The Trillium Health Partners’ Gynaecologic-oncology program provides care to people in the community who have been diagnosed with malignancies of the female reproductive system. The successful applicant will function as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide both inpatient and outpatient surgical management of women with cancer and premalignant conditions. Our program works closely with radiation, surgery and medical oncology to deliver complete and state of the art care to women in a community-based hospital that is also a teaching centre for the University of Toronto’s Mississauga Academy of Medicine.

The position represents an opportunity to join a group of dedicated healthcare professionals in a progressive organization. The successful candidate will be licensed in good standing in Ontario or eligible for a license to practice in Ontario. The applicant will have completed a Royal College approved fellowship a fellowship in Obstetrics / Gynecology with subspecialty in gynecology oncology; be skilled in management of malignancies of the female genital tract including vulva, vagina, cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries; and be skilled in the performance of colposcopy of the cervix and vulva. The applicant should have a fundamental alignment with the vision and philosophy of Trillium Health Partners' Women' Health Program including a willingness to participate in teaching, research and innovation.
