Trillium Health Partners (THP), the largest community based academic health network in Ontario, is seeking Obstetrician / Gynecologists to join our team and community as a Locum provider. THP serves over one million residents in the communities of Mississauga, Peel Region and West Toronto. The hospital encompasses three main sites – Credit Valley Hospital (CVH), Mississauga Hospital (MH), and Queensway Health Centre (QHC) – offering a full range of acute care hospital services, as well as a variety of community-based specialized programs including the Peel Regional Cancer Centre which serves both the Central West and Mississauga Halton LHINs.

The Women’s and Children’s Health platform at Trillium Health Partners provides care for 8,500 births, over 5,500 gynecologic procedures, approximately 6,000 paediatric ambulatory visits, 47,000-50,000 pediatric ER visits, and admission of close to 2,000 children in a typical year. To support these volumes, the Women’s Health division has 84 obstetrical beds (including 27 birthing suite beds) and the Children’s Health platform has 44 NICU beds, and 35 inpatient beds. The program also houses a maternal fetal medicine program, one of the few community programs in the Greater Toronto Area that provides comprehensive high risk obstetrical care. The Women’s Health team at THP is committed to provision of exceptional patient care and participate in the MoreOB risk management program and follow Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists guidelines.

The position represents an opportunity to join a group of dedicated healthcare professionals in a progressive organization. The successful candidate will be licensed in good standing in Ontario or eligible for a license to practice in Ontario. The applicant will have completed a fellowship in Obstetrics / Gynecology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada; and possess strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively with all department / team disciplines in a supportive best practice environment. The applicant should have a fundamental alignment with the vision and philosophy of Trillium Health Partners' Women' Health Program including a willingness to participate in teaching, research and innovation. The successful candidates will be expected to participate in the Division of Women’s Health on-call schedule.
