Manage Your Own Practice: Physician for Family Practice Clinic in Saskatoon - City of Bridges

Job Description:

Our well-established practice is looking for a full-time or part-time Family Physician to join our team.  Take over from one of our physicians who relocated to Europe, and manage your own practice with an extensive patient base of booked and walk-in appointments. You can choose to see only walk-ins, or only booked patients or a mix of both, you decide.  

Payment structure is fee-for-service paid bi-weekly, at a competitive split that is also dependent on contract negotiation. Family Physician Comprehensive Care Program (FPCCP) and on-call stipend are paid once annually and are not subject to any split payment.

Clinic Details:

The clinic uses Accuro EMR and offers billing support in a modern, welcoming practice strategically located close to downtown with the nearest hospital only 1.4km away. A Diabetic Nurse attends the clinic one day a month.  There is an on-site Pharmacy while a physio-therapist, massage therapist and Chiropractor are next door.  Ample free, heated parking is available on the premises for both doctors and patients.

Clinic hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with telephone on-call rotation 1 night/week and 1/12 weekends. These hours can be extended and weekends can be included if desired.

Requirements:

• Contract length is negotiable
• Canadian trained or International Medical Graduate with postgraduate training from the UK, Ireland, Australia or USA
• Eligible for certification by the College of Family Physicians Canada (CFPC)
• Eligible for licensure with theCollege of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS)
