Physician Respirologist

The Division of Respiratory Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver Acute (VA) invite applications for a Physician Respirologist. The VA Division of Respiratory Medicine has over 20 full time physician members, a broad range of respiratory subspecialty clinics, four hospital service lines, and an active teaching and research community. UBC is a global centre for research and teaching, consistently ranked among the top 20 public universities in the world. 

The successful candidate must be eligible to be licensed to practice as a Respiratory Physician in British Columbia. S/he must have clinical expertise and fellowship training in management of Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD). The candidate must also demonstrate excellence in ILD research and/or quality improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in outpatient ILD clinics, general respiratory clinics, along with the VGH respiratory inpatient and consultation service. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and will be expected to participate in the undergraduate as well as the postgraduate teaching activities.
