Locum in Palliative Medicine

Queen’s University is seeking interested candidates to join our Division of Palliative Medicine in the Department of Medicine for full-time locum coverage with a negotiable term, starting immediately. The Division of Palliative Medicine provides inpatient and outpatient consultation service across a variety of sites, including the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (Kingston General Hospital site, Cancer Centre of South Eastern Ontario and Hotel Dieu Hospital), Quinte Health Centre, Providence Care Hospital, and various community settings including homecare, long term care, transitional care centres, and regional prisons. The applicant will participate in on-call services for patients across these sites. Applicants must be certified as a palliative consultant (CCFP-PC, FRCPC-PM or international equivalent). Queen’s University and its affiliated hospitals will expect the successful applicant to teach and supervise medical students and postgraduate physician trainees. A competitive remuneration is provided and candidates must be eligible for independent licensure in Ontario (CPSO).
