Medical Oncologist

The Department of Medicine at Scarborough Health Network is seeking a full-time staff Medical Oncologist to join our current team. As a staff medical oncologist, you will assess and treat oncology patients with solid tumor malignancies in an ambulatory clinic setting. You will also consult on admitted in-patients, join regular department meetings, and actively participate in Multidisciplinary Cancer Conferences. Participation in call schedule is also expected.

This position is funded through an Alternate Funding Plan (AFP) with the Ontario Medical Oncologist Association (ONTMOA).

The candidate must be eligible for independent practice licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and hold certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. Emphasis will be placed on candidates with experience working in a community hospital setting as well as candidates with strong communication skills. Contact:
