Our client, Headwaters Health Care Centre (HHCC), is a modern 86-bed acute and complex continuing care facility serving a catchment population of approximately 130,000 located just northwest of the Greater Toronto Area in the picturesque town of Orangeville, Ontario.  With an annual budget of approximately $90M, the hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services, as well as an Emergency Department with 24/7 coverage.  HHCC provides inpatient services in critical care, medical, surgical, women and children’s health, complex continuing care, and palliative care in addition to a diversity of outpatient clinics all supported by comprehensive Laboratory and Medical Imaging services.

HHCC has approximately 40,000 ER visits, 920 deliveries and 5,000 inpatient visits annually.  Medical staff includes 35 Family Doctors, 8 General Internists, 4 General Surgeons, 4 OBGYNS, 4 Paediatricians, 2 Plastic Surgeons, 8 Anaesthesiolgists, 12 Hospitalists and 1 for each of the following: ENT, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology and Urology specialties.  A new, 8,000 square foot Ambulatory Care Centre was added in 2017 which provides high demand clinics and programs for dialysis, chemotherapy, minor procedures, orthopedics and plastics, among others.
