General Adult Psychiatrist

Ridge Meadows Hospital & Maple Ridge Mental Health Centre

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Five days per week consisting of:

    • Inpatient Psychiatry
    • Assertive Community Treatment
    • ER
    • Community Mental Health Team

  • Participation in the Ridge Meadows Hospital Psychiatry On-Call Rota

  • Participation in the Electroconvulsive Therapy roster

  • Participation in the educational program for undergraduate and postgraduate trainees.

Compensation

  • Remuneration will be in the form of Fee for Service and APP sessions for services which cannot be appropriately billed via the Medical Services Plan.

Qualifications

  • The candidate must have:

    • Active full license with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of BC
    • Current CMPA coverage
    • FRCPC
