PEDIATRICIAN – LOCUM, MILTON DISTRICT HOSPITAL
Halton Healthcare is currently accepting applications for a Locum Pediatrician at our Milton District Hospital.
The newly expanded Milton District Hospital opened a state-of-the-art facility in October 2017. With a brand new Maternal Child Unit, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, inpatient units, diagnostic imaging and operating room suites the successful applicant will have an opportunity to be a part of the expanding Pediatric service in Milton. This community hospital has a Pediatric observation short stay unit, level 2 A special care nursery and Post Emergency Pediatric Clinic. Also there is an opportunity to join a group Pediatric community office.
Applicants must have Certification in Pediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must hold a license in the Province of Ontario to practice independently. You will be expected to demonstrate commitment to community pediatrics in Milton and will share the on call coverage. Excellent communication and team skills are essential. Additional specialty training would be considered an asset.
