Our client, the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVRHC), located in beautiful Barrie, Ontario,  is an expanding hospital organization serving a growing population across the region.  With an annual budget of $386M, RVRHC has: 388 beds; 490,000 patient visits; 84,800 ER visits; 14,600 surgeries; and 1,970 deliveries annually.

The Regional Vascular Program at RVRHC serves the North Simcoe Muskoka region with a catchment area of over 500,000 residents providing comprehensive care in two primary sites: Royal Victoria Regional Heath Centre and Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. The regional service also provides care to patients from the broader geographic area and plays an essential role in the support of other regional programs including stroke prevention and the regional renal dialysis program.

The Regional Vascular Program at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre is seeking an exceptional Vascular Surgeon to join their team.

Successful candidates will be FRCSC certified, or eligible in Vascular Surgery, and will be eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario. Offering a highly collegial group practice environment with a unique compensation model, RVRHC provides a comprehensive and supportive onboarding process.

Highlights of the program include: onsite Vascular Lab; access to hybrid operating suite; access to interventional suite; access to outreach operating suite; newly renovated outpatient clinic; onsite physician assistant to support inpatient care; 8-bed surgical step-down unit; and a16-bed intensive care unit.
