The Department of Paediatrics is seeking a 0.4 FTE Paediatric Endocrinologist to provide tri-site consultations at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital site.

In partnership with the hospital administrative team, the Pediatric endocrinologist will lead the development of the Pediatric diabetes service at Halton Healthcare as well as support the Halton Diabetes regional program providing service to residents in the communities of Burlington, Georgetown, Milton and Oakville.

Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital is a new state-of-the-art, 1.6 million sq. ft. full-service acute care community hospital located in Oakville, Ontario. The tri-site Paediatric department is supported by approximately 50 Paediatricians including all main Paediatric sub specialists and general Paediatricians. 

Our new program operates the diabetes clinic twice a week in order to provide a seamless transition for newly and previously diagnosed diabetic patients from an inpatient to an outpatient setting for education and management.

Candidates must have an independent license or eligible for independent license with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). They must have fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in Paediatrics and have completed additional training in Paediatric Endocrinology.
