The Department of Paediatrics is seeking a Full-Time Associate Paediatric Adolescent Medicine specialist.
The candidate will provide specialty care for teens in Osler’s catchment area and work in the outpatient eating disorder clinic in conjunction with the adolescent psychiatry team. The specialist will also have a clinic day for general adolescent medicine. The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees. Interest in managing eating disorders along with ability to further develop a multidisciplinary ED program will be an asset.
Osler is a designated Regional Maternal Newborn and Paediatric Centre with an Advanced Level 2 NICU. Inpatient beds are comprised of 39 NICU beds and 26 Inpatient Paediatric beds. As an affiliated academic community teaching site for the McMaster University Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine: Family Medicine program and a key clinical partner for the new School of Medicine with Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), there is ample opportunity to participate in clinical education with medical students and residents.

The candidate must have a certificate of registration to practise from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have fellowship in General Paediatrics Adolescent medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
