ANESTHESIOLOGIST – Full Time  – Milton District Hospital

 

Halton Healthcare is currently seeking one anesthesiologist to join our anesthesia group at the Milton District Hospital. Our current facility expanded in October 2017 and offers a brand new surgical suite, obstetrics, emergency department, diagnostics and inpatient units. This provides the unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding, modern surgical program with state-of-the-art surgical suites and a busy labour and delivery service. There is a full complement of FRCSC trained general surgery, orthopedic surgery, urology, plastic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology and otolaryngology specialists. A closed ICU, and advanced diagnostic and interventional radiology are also available. Working in Milton is an ideal environment for individuals looking for diversity and unique challenges in a community hospital setting.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to surgical education at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

 

Position Details: 

  • Participation in 1 in 6 on-call schedule 
  • Candidates must have certification in anesthesia from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must be licensed in the Province of Ontario. 
  • Anticipated Start Date: Spring/Summer 2023
