Career Opportunity in Paediatric Endocrinology
The Department of Paediatrics is seeking a Full Time Associate Paediatric Endocrinologist.
The candidate will join two paediatric endocrinologists to participate in the Paediatric Diabetes Ambulatory Program and Lifestyle Clinic at Peel Memorial and contribute to the Paediatric Endocrinology inpatient on-call service. The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees. An interest in providing paediatric endocrinology office based care in the community would be an asset.
Osler is a designated Regional Maternal Newborn and Paediatric Centre with an Advanced Level 2 NICU. Inpatient beds are comprised of 39 NICU beds and 26 Inpatient Paediatric beds. As an affiliated academic community teaching site for the McMaster University Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine: Family Medicine program and a key clinical partner for the new School of Medicine with Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). Participation in medical education of medical students, residents and fellows is an integral part of the role of every member of the department.

The candidate must have a certificate of registration to practise from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have fellowship in General Paediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with certification or a plan to obtain certification in Paediatric Endocrinology.
