Anesthesiologists – Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital

Halton Healthcare is currently seeking Locum and Permanent Anesthesiologists to join our expanding team of 23 Anesthesiologists at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. OTMH is a state of the art 457-bed  acute  care  hospital  that  opened  in  2015.  There  are  11  OR  suites,  a fully equipped  regional anesthesia block room, an Ambulatory Procedures Unit (APU) with 4 OR suites, 11 birthing suites with an additional 2 OR suites, preoperative clinic, and a 19-bed ICU. We also provide anesthesia support for procedures in the GI suite and interventional radiology.

Our anesthesia team is supported by 6 Anesthesia Assistants, as well as a nurse practitioner and a clinical nurse specialist on the acute pain service. There is a full complement of orthopedic, general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, plastics, urology, gynecology, vascular and maxillofacial specialists.

OTMH is affiliated with McMaster University and accepts anesthesia residents and medical students on a regular basis.

Successful candidates should have a full license to practice anesthesiology in Ontario and be a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada.  Additional fellowship training would be considered an asset.
