CARDIOLOGIST - MILTON, ONTARIO

The Department of Medicine at Milton District Hospital is seeking a full time non-invasive Cardiologist.

The city of Milton is located in the Greater Toronto Area and is the fastest growing community in Ontario. Milton District Hospital is one of Halton Healthcare’s three sites. A 330,000 square foot expansion opened in October 2017 and offers a brand-new intensive care unit, surgical suites, emergency department, diagnostics, and inpatient units.

Our Cardiology service provides consultative service and care to inpatients and the emergency department.

The successful candidate is expected to participate in the growth and expansion of our nascent Cardiology program including inpatient consultations and Cardiology diagnostics covering North Halton region (Milton District and Georgetown Hospital) while participating on the Internal Medicine call rotation. Our hospital has a robust hospitalist program to support inpatient care.

Candidates must have an independent license or eligible for independent license with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). They must have fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in Internal Medicine and FRCPC in or eligible in Cardiology. Additional Fellowship will be taken into consideration however not required.
