Quinte Health has a vacancy for Psychiatrists (permanent, full-time, part-time or locum)

Acute Care Psychiatric/Mental Health Services are provided at Quinte Health Belleville General Hospital as a Schedule One facility under the Mental Health Act. The mental health program includes inpatient, outpatient, transitional outpatient care, emergency services, consultations, and educational services to the community. Quinte Health is seeking a psychiatrist who is prepared to work or cross-cover through the full range of our mental health services. We are a highly collegial, collaborative team committed to working together to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve while maintaining a healthy, enjoyable work environment in which our psychiatrists continue to learn from and support each other. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Along with remuneration options to supplement fee for service billing, Quinte Health offers excellent office support and opportunities for professional development and leadership. The department is attached to the Department of Psychiatry and Queens University as an Academic Unit and provides training to residents and students.

Candidates will require Royal College certification along with an independent license with the CPSO.
