Our client, Niagara Health (NH), is one of the largest multi-site health care systems in Ontario serving more than 450,000 residents within the Regional Municipality of Niagara.  NH has over 31,000 admissions, 40,000 surgical procedures, 4,000 deliveries, and close to 150,000 emergency and urgent care visits per year. Providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, NH has over 1,000 beds, 7,300 employees, physicians, and volunteers, and a $610M budget.

With a new one million square foot state-of-the-art hospital in St. Catharines, the transformation of healthcare service delivery across Niagara continues with construction started to build an additional ultramodern hospital in South Niagara Falls.  Strong academic partnerships are a priority for NH as the organization builds on a robust relationship with McMaster University’s Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine.

NH is seeking full-time or part-time Anesthesiologists and Family Practice Anesthetists to contribute to the top tier care provided in their Surgical Program to support their inpatient and outpatient surgical and perioperative services.  This is an exceptional opportunity to join an innovative, collegial, and mutually respectful team.

Candidates must be certified, or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Anesthesiology and hold, or be eligible for, licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario or be certified, or eligible for, certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada with a Certificate of Added Competence in Family Practice Anesthesia and hold, or be eligible for, licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.  CPSO pathway licensure is easily available for US Board Certified Physicians.
