PEDIATRICIANS – FULL TIME and LOCUM, GEORGETOWN HOSPITAL

Halton Healthcare, Georgetown Hospital is seeking full-time and locum pediatricians to join our pediatric team. Georgetown Hospital is one of the 3 sites of Halton Healthcare located in Georgetown. Georgetown is part of the Regional Municipality of Halton, located approximately 60 km west of Toronto, and serves the community of Georgetown, Acton, and surrounding areas offering an idyllic lifestyle and access to many large cities.

The successful candidate will participate in the call schedule to provide consultation in general pediatrics and neonates. The majority of call shifts will take place in Georgetown with options to pick up calls at Milton District Hospital and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate may also accept medical students and pediatric residents from McMaster University and will be eligible to apply for an affiliated academic title. There is an ideal situation and an opportunity to establish a community pediatric practice in Georgetown.

Applicants must have Certification in Pediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must hold a license in the Province of Ontario to practice independently. Excellent communication and team skills are essential.
