Trillium Health Partners’ Women’s and Children’s Health Program is seeking Paediatricians to provide general paediatrics care. In this role, the physicians would join a strong and dedicated team of fellow Paediatricians and work closely with the inter-professional team.

Trillium Health Partners (THP) is Ontario's largest community-based academic health network, serving over one million residents in the communities of Mississauga, Peel Region, and West Toronto. The hospital encompasses three main sites – Credit Valley Hospital (CVH), Mississauga Hospital (MH), and Queensway Health Centre (QHC) – offering a full range of acute care hospital services, as well as a variety of community-based specialized programs, including the Peel Regional Cancer Centre. THP is also the primary teaching hospital for the University of Toronto’s Mississauga Academy of Medicine.

The Children’s Health Program is a multi-site service with Paediatric Generalists and sub-specialists. There were over 8,712 births last year at THP and 47,033 paediatric visits to ED. This position represents an opportunity to join a group of dedicated healthcare professionals in a progressive organization. The successful candidate must be licensed in good standing in Ontario or eligible for a license to practice in Ontario, Canada. The applicant will be required to have a Royal College approved Fellowship in Pediatrics and have a fundamental alignment with the vision and philosophy of the THP’s Women’s and Children’s Health Program. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to an inter-professional care model are essential.

Candidates should have experience with all aspects of Children’s Health and be able to provide the full spectrum of General Paediatric care, including NICU, emergency consults, inpatient and ambulatory care. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the Division of Children’s Health on-call schedule.
