Full-Time/Part-Time

Brockville General Hospital (BGH) is seeking 1 full-time or 2 part-time General Radiologist(s) to join our Department of Diagnostic Imaging and its team of 3 full-time Radiologists.

BGH is a 160 bed, acute care community hospital, serving a regional population of approximately 125,000. BGH has an ER Department, and inpatient services including a 10 bed Intensive Care unit, Acute Medicine, Women’s and Children’s Health, Mental Health, Rehabilitation and Surgery.

We provide General Radiology services including radiography, ultrasound, breast imaging, BMD, CT, fluoroscopy and limited non-vascular interventional radiology. A new MRI will be installed and operational in the spring of 2024.

We are a small, collegial group. We generally work out of the hospital but have the ability to read remotely. We place emphasis on work-life balance while providing quality care to the community.  Radiologists provide partial on-call services, supplemented by Teleradiology.

Qualifications

  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (FRCPC)
  • Have, or eligible for, Independent Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
  • Expertise in breast imaging (including stereotactic and tomosynthesis) would be an asset. 
  • Fellowship training is preferred, but not mandatory.
