Family Physician for LakeMed Clinic

LakeMed Clinic, a famliy medical clinic in Chestermere is looking for 2 full or part-time physicians. Chestermere is a rapidly growing city (Census 2024 - 23652, Population 2025 expected 33000 ). We a currently share our space with an Audiologist, Physiotherapist and downstairs have a pharmacy. We have an excellent facility with 2 rooms each, a physician only common area, kitchen and options to work out in the physiotherapy area. Also very modern procedure room. If you are interested in botox injections and other skin procedures, you can find out how to be added to their roster. We are looking for full / part time or casual physicians to join our team. At the moment there are no evening or weekend shifts.

Position: 

Family physician/General Practice

Terms of Employment: 

This is a full-time position, 36-40 hours per week. Possible after hours in future. Part-time or casual opportunities are also available.

Salary: 

Fee for Service (approximately 240,000- $340,000 per year)

Experience:  

Miniumum 1 year

Education:  

Doctor of Medicine

Language:  

English (Punjabi or other would be an assess)

Work Setting: 

Family Medicine, Walk -in

Licence: 

CCFP/College of Family Physicians 

Licensure by Provincial or Territorial Authorities/Medical Council of Canada

Family physician's primary duties:

Examining patients and taking their histories.

Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.

Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' health

Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases.

Advise patients on healthcare.

Communicate health promotion/disease prevention to patients.

Provide Counselling ans support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
