ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON

CORNER BROOK, NL 

Western Health is seeking the immediate services of an Orthopedic Surgeon with schedule openings from January to April 2018.  Services are required for Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador.  

Western Memorial Regional Hospital is a 217 bed regional referral centre for Western Newfoundland and provides services to a population base of approximately 82,000 people. We are affiliated with Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador Medical School and we encourage & support academic interests.  

Qualifications:

• Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) certification.
• Eligibility for Specialist registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL) and the ability to meet the credentialing requirements of Western Health’s Discipline of Orthopedic Surgery.  

Remuneration & Reimbursements:

• Daily locum rate as per the Medical Care Plan (MCP) fee schedule.

• CMPA and CPSNL  fees for locums

• Travel, Meals and Incidental Expenses
