The Department of Medicine, Queen's University, invites applications for a Geographically Full-time appointment in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism. The incumbent will assist the Division in fulfilling its academic and clinical missions within the Department of Medicine.
Candidates must be eligible for licensure in Endocrinology in the Province of Ontario and preference will be given to those who either hold or are eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine with fellowship training in Endocrinology. In addition to a major focus of providing exemplary clinic service, the successful applicant must demonstrate strong potential for teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level, engage in collaborative research and contribute to the administrative functions of the University and hospitals. Strong potential for innovative and scholarly research would be expected. The successful applicant must demonstrate strong leadership skills and he/she would be expected to provide evidence of the ability to work in a collaborative environment, excellent communication skills and a strong academic portfolio.
