Pediatric Anesthesiologist

The Department of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, is seeking a pediatric anesthesiologist to lead a rapidly growing Chronic Pain Clinic. This appointment is an opportunity to integrate existing Acute, Transitional, and Chronic Pain Programs at The Hospital for Sick Children. The successful candidate must have a commitment to excellence in clinician care and education, both in the pain clinic and the operating room. Active involvement in research relevant to pain medicine will be an asset. The appointment offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with the hospital’s Pain Centre on local and global pediatric pain research, education and quality improvement initiatives.  

The candidate must be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher at the University of Toronto. The candidate must hold an advanced MD University Degree, and be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
