NEURORADIOLOGIST
A diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologist is required to join a group of 35 radiologists, five of whom specialize in neuroradiology. The candidate will be an FRCPC, or equivalent, in Diagnostic Radiology and have a minimum two-year fellowship in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. The candidate will be proficient in both neurointervention and imaging and will have a proven academic record.
The QEII Health Sciences Centre is the largest tertiary care group of teaching hospitals in Atlantic Canada and part of the Nova Scotia Health Authority. It is the core adult clinical teaching facility for Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Medicine. There are active residency programs in Diagnostic Radiology, Neuroradiology and Nuclear Medicine. The department is affiliated with the Biomedical Translational Imaging Centre, a research institute conducting research in high field strength magnetic resonance imaging, magnetoencephalography and preclinical imaging devices and techniques.
