Interventional Cardiologist

The Department of Medicine, Dalhousie University/Nova Scotia Health Authority seeks applications for a position as an Academic Interventional Cardiologist with the Division of Cardiology, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Candidates must hold FRCPC or equivalent certification in Cardiology with additional training in Interventional Cardiology. They must also be eligible to have appropriate licensing for Cardiology with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia. Preference will be given to applicants with advanced skills, for example (but not limited to) complex coronary intervention, treatment of chronic total occlusion and to those with an academic background.

The Division of Cardiology is one of 15 divisions within the Department of Medicine. In addition to playing an important clinical role in the Department, division members have excellent opportunities for collaborative educational and research endeavors with protected time for scholarly activities to ensure rewarding, fulfilling career development.
