Family Physician-Hospitalist

The position offers a part time opportunity for family medicine or internal medicine physicians to join the inter-disciplinary teams which provides medical care and rehabilitation services to patients recovering from acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. The successful candidate must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have current valid certifica-tion from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. In this role, and supported by the physiatrist team, the hospitalists provide primary care for up to 30 patients on the rehabilitation wards. Backup support for complex patients is always available and there is an on-site nurse practitioner.
