ACADEMIC POSITION – DIVISION OF MEDICAL ONCOLOGY

LONDON REGIONAL CANCER PROGRAM

The Department of Oncology, Division of Medical Oncology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario, and its affiliated clinical London Regional Cancer Program, London Health Sciences Centre, are seeking a Medical Oncologist for a full-time clinical academic appointment to the University of Western Ontario. Applicants should be certified or eligible for certification in Medical Oncology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent. Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and must be eligible for licensure in the province of Ontario.

The Division of Medical Oncology currently consists of 18 academic Medical Oncologists. The position will be located at the London Regional Cancer Program located at the Victoria Hospital site of London Health Sciences Centre. Successful applicants for this position will have a commitment to, and demonstrated aptitude for medical education and/or research. The candidate will also be expected to take a full role in the clinical activities of the Medical Oncology program. Consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, qualifications, including qualifications which go beyond the requirements for the position, and experience.
