Paediatric Cardiologist

Effective July 1, 2019 the Division of Cardiology, Department of Paediatrics, at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) an academic health science centre dedicated exclusively to children, affiliated with the University of Toronto is recruiting a paediatric cardiologist.

The Division of Cardiology is fully integrated into the Labatt Family Heart Centre and works collaboratively to provide the highest level of clinical care in an academically focused, evidence-based, environment. It has a strong training and education program that attracts undergraduate and postgraduate trainees from around the world.

The successful candidate for this full-time permanent position should be fully trained in Paediatric Cardiology with at least one-year subspecialty training in Fetal Cardiology.

The successful candidate must be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto. Rank and salary ($255,000-$305,000) per annum will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be eligible for a benefit package which includes medical, dental, life insurance, long term disability insurance, group insurance, pension plan, vision care, academic allowance, and a relocation package and may be eligible for mortgage assistance. All candidates must be able to function proficiently in English.

All candidates must hold an M.D. or equivalent and be certified or eligible for certification in Paediatrics by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or have comparable qualifications. Candidates must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
