Chief, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Program Co-Medical Director

Our client, Niagara Health (NH), is one of the largest multi-site health care systems in Ontario serving 434,000 residents within the Regional Municipality of Niagara.  With over 900 beds, 4800 employees, and a $500M budget, NH provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services across six sites encompassing operations in Fort Erie, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Port Colborne, Welland, and a new one million square foot state-of-the-art hospital in St. Catharines.

The transformation of healthcare service delivery across Niagara continues with planning underway to build an additional ultramodern hospital in South Niagara Falls.  Strong academic partnerships are a priority for NH as the organization builds on a robust relationship with McMaster University’s Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine.  Playing a pivotal role for the growth of several key programs including regional services, NH is seeking a visionary leader who can champion innovation, academic and clinical program expansion, and the delivery of safe, high quality, leading edge practice.  Join the NH Leadership Team as Chief, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Program Co-Medical Director.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff & Executive Vice President Medical and to the Executive Vice President, Clinical Services, the Chief, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Program Co-Medical Director will possess an FRCSC, be eligible for licensure in Ontario, and have a proven track record of clinical leadership excellence.  The next Chief will have the exciting mandate of further developing a top tier team while participating in the planning for the new hospital in the beautiful South Niagara Region.
